Privacy Policy

The short version

Pivot+ is designed so that your spreadsheet data never leaves your Google account. All analysis happens locally, inside the add-on dialog running in your browser. We operate no servers that receive, store, or process your data.

What the add-on can access

The current spreadsheet only (Google scope: spreadsheets.currentonly) — to read the data you ask Pivot+ to explore and, if you use the sample-data feature, to insert a sheet.
Display UI (script.container.ui) — to show the explorer dialog and menus.
One external request type (script.external_request) — used exclusively to validate Pro license keys against Lemon Squeezy, our payments provider. Only the license key itself is transmitted; never any spreadsheet content.

What we collect

Spreadsheet data: none. It is read into the dialog's memory in your browser session and discarded when you close it.
Purchases: if you buy Pivot+ Pro, our merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy) processes your payment and shares with us your email address and license status, which we use to provide support and license management.
Waitlist emails: if you email us to join the launch list, we keep your address for launch announcements only. Unsubscribe by replying "stop".

What we never do

Sell or share your personal information.
Transmit, log, or retain the contents of your spreadsheets.
Use your data to train anything.

Data retention & deletion

License and view preferences are stored in Google's Properties Service inside your own Google account and are removed when you uninstall the add-on or deactivate the license. To delete purchase records, contact us.

Google API Services disclosure

Pivot+'s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
